Martha will recommend specific farms and customize your itinerary.

An artful product of grace and grit, get to know Kentucky bourbon. Tucked into the farmland of the Bluegrass region you’ll find bourbon aficionados who are proud to show off their carefully crafted spirits. Intrepid visitors can explore the unique distillery campuses that produce Kentucky’s famous spirit. Martha will recommend distilleries that fit your schedule and taste.

Although Kentucky is most famous for our horses and our bourbon, there is a lot more to love about this place. Maybe you want to see carefully preserved homes; majestic, sprawling farms, idyllic small towns; or quaint shops & cafes, let Martha know what’s on your list — or let her make some suggestions — and she’ll round out your day in the Bluegrass.

Depending on the size of your group, you may be able to ride with Martha while she narrates the way to your destinations. She’ll give you a sense of the history of the Bluegrass region as well as an insider’s view into the culture, industry and notable people of the region. And you can kick back and take in the views.
Martha often meets visitors at their hotel/B&B to take you on a tour while you're visiting the Lexington area. She can recommend some of her favorite places if you'd like!
If you'd like to offer a special add-on for your group or corporate party, Martha can customize a one-of-a-kind experience for special clients. Many groups will offer a tour with Martha in conjunction with a visit to the races at historic Keeneland racetrack.
Martha works year-round, and limits clients so that she can provide a personalized experience for each of her guests.
SMALL GROUP TOUR PRICING
The typical small to mid-sized group rate is $65/hour (includes planning, two-hour minimum). Please note that some farms may charge separate visitor fees; these fees will be in addition to the hourly rate.
SEPARATE VENDORS
If you are scheduling a tour to a farm that is part of Horse Country's portfolio, Martha can purchase your entrance tickets ahead of time with her preferred partner discount.
STEP ON GUIDE
For large bus tours, Martha can be your Step On Guide. Step on Guide rates will be determined on an individual basis.
SCHEDULING
Tours are a minimum of 2 hours. Days fill up quickly during the Spring and Fall meets at Keeneland (October and April), so please call/email ahead during peak season.
