"Martha picked us up at our Inn and for 3 hours we learned more about horses and how the farms worked than we could ever imagine. Took a great tour of Clayborn Farms and the knowledge she shared was unbelievable. We did not know much when the tour started but felt well taught when over. She has a bubbly personality and makes you feel so good. Even discovered her daughter married a son of a friend of ours!! Look forward to coming back and doing another tour. You can't go wrong with her private tour. She could take you places the bus tours can't."

"We had Martha customize a tour for us. It was amazing! She was so knowledgeable about the farms and derby winners. She was so laid back and friendly and was so well respected at the farms we visited. At her suggestion, we visited Kensmarc, which was incredible. I would highly recommend her tour, you won't be disappointed._

They take great care of our guests! Hello. I am Elise Buckley with A Storybook Inn Bed and Breakfast. Nancy (Hap) and Martha have been doing tours for the Inn for years. I can always depend on them to not only give an excellent, exciting tour but do so with grace and kindness.
My guests that schedule private horse farm tours or tours of the area love them!
"I contacted Martha Martin because I wanted to see specific horses at farms that were not open to the public. I knew what I wanted and simply emailed Martha and she made all the arrangements. It was perfect. Since Martha is an "insider" and knows the Thoroughbred industry, she was a wealth of information. She drove us to the farms and I got to get up close to horses that I had watched win races. It was a great fan experience.
Unbridled Horse Tours are not standardized tours. Martha can set up a custom made experience. Just let her know what you are interested in and she will do the rest.
I am already making a list of what I want to see the next time I go to Lexington. I can't wait to go back!"

"We took a tour with Martha Martin through Lexington farm country. She was so knowledgeable and gave us all kinds of insider information as an owner of her own family's horse farm and a lifelong resident. She catered the tour to what we wanted to see and got us access to places like the farm where Secretariat is filmed that is not available to other guides or the public. She answered all of our questions, and we had a ton because we knew little about the horse world. The advantage of going on a tour with a local who had such apparent passion for horses and the area can't be underestimated. I highly recommend her tour. I am sure hoping I meet her again! She really was like traveling with a friend by the end of the day. Everyone we know was amazed at the pictures we posted and one of our friends is already planning to contact her for a tour later this spring. What are you waiting for? Contact her now!"

Martha was a very helpful tour guide. We spent a lot of time before our trip e-mailing back and forth to arrange the perfect tour. She met us close to our hotel and let us ride with her. It was nice not having to worry about driving and sight-seeing at the same time. She was very informative and was able to drive us through some beautiful farms that you wouldn't be able to drive through on your own. We toured the one stallion barn where my husband and I were the only people on the tour - so amazing! Standing next to those stallions, you really get a sense of how big they are! (and I'm pretty tall myself at 5'10). The morning was well planned so we got the most for our money."
